In this project me and my group had to make 3 simple machines. We had to makesure the plans of the team before us will adapt properly to our first step. My group decided to use a incline plane, 2 levers, and gears. Our design had a problem when it came to initiating the gears, this was the first part of our sytem which startedt the rest of our simple machines. We realized that we needed a heavier object to initate the gears.
Our team had to improve upon a winch design that was presented to us in our POE class. We decided to use 3 pulleys for the top shaft, 2 plus for the second shaft, and one pulley for the last shaft. Our Mechanical advantage was one, we thought of many different ideas but the final idea we came up had to with implementatingcompound gears. By the time we decided on using the compound gear idea it was to late.

MarbleSorter Project
In thgis project we had tosort 3 different colored marbles in a set amount of time(2 mins). Our design didn't work because thje light sensor wasnot consistently reading the marble correctly. We found out the reason why the sesnsor wasn't consistently reading was because the marble wasn'tlanding on the sensor, it was covering 2/3 of the sensor.

Marble Sorter
In this project we had to design a machine that could sort 3 different colored or sized marbles. We had to use vex equipment and we had to make a written report about the machine. In the end, we had to do a 15 marble test and we could only sort 8 out of the 15 marbles due to light sensor issues.

Projectile Launcher
In this project I had to design a launcher that would be able ot launch a ping pong ball. The only restiction we had for this project was we couldn't ise anything flamable. We had to do an accuracy test and a distance test.
